Светлана на минутку зависла, словно просила мозг о перезагрузке, зажмурила глаза, потом тайком оценила себя в зеркале, и, в очередной раз, отругала сама себя за лень. Вот надо же было поленится и выйти из дома с хвостом, вместо красиво уложенной копны, которой завидовали все знакомые. Из состояния оцепенения вывел шепот подруги «не женат, кстати», заговорщицки улыбаясь.
А дальше, романтично-увлекательное.. звонки, переписка, первая совместная поездка в Прагу, потом ещё Париж и чудные итальянские каникулы и… долгожданное предложение.

Личная встреча необходима для подачи на К-1. За волшебной и сказочной конфетно-букетной дымкой, грозно вырос вопрос: а что же дальше? Жизнь на разных континентах? Встречи через пару месяцев в уютных европейских отелях? Или все-таки переезд?
Решено было, что Света, оставив на родине любимую работу и близких, всё-таки даст возможность воплотиться прекрасной сказке наяву и поедет за своим будущим мужем.
История красивая, не так ли?
Но как же правильно поступить, грамотно обойдя все углы, чтоб не набить лишних шишек и не утопить свою прекрасную сказочную историю в ворохе юридических форм, терминов и процедур.
К счастью, у Сергея, была возможность получить квалифицированный совет вовремя. Потому что идеи, приходящие в голову влюбленных, зачастую банальны и нелогичны. В нашем офисе, мы успели остановить эту пару, от необдуманных шагов-таких как, пожениться на родине Светланы и потом пройти через долгосрочную и более дорогостоящую процедуру восстановления семьи или, что хуже, приехать в США по туристической визе и остаться. Выбрали самый быстрый и удобный в данной ситуации путь, и принялись за дело.
Итак, коротко о главном по визе К-1 или, так называемой, ‘визе невесты.’
Сразу хочу оговориться, что называя в данной статье К-1 ‘визой невесты’, мы автоматически подразумеваем и ‘визу жениха’ на тот случай, когда принимающей стороной в США, как раз является невеста.
КАК РАБОТАЕТ К-1 ВИЗА НЕВЕСТЫ
- Изначальный, пакет документов подаётся гражданином США в USCIS на территории США.
- После того, как документы проверены и классификация одобрена, данный пакет передается в посольство США уже на территории невесты, которой будет необходимо заполнить определённые формы и пройти медосмотр, в аккредитованном медицинском центре. Далее, невесте будет назначено интервью в посольстве, по результатам которого будет принято решение о предоставлении визы.
- По прибытию невесты в США, пара должна вступить в законный брак в течение 90 дней, с момента прибытия. Или принять решение, что они друг другу не подходят, свадьбы не будет и это значит, что невесте, по закону, необходимо вернуться домой. После заключения брака, оформляется грин-карта.
ЧТО ВАЖНО
- Наличие гражданства США у жениха (или невесты).
- Вы должны были встречаться (а значит иметь документы подтверждающие такие встречи) в течение последних двух лет.
- Оба из вас должны иметь возможность законно вступить в брак (т.е. быть одинокими или уже разведенными и т.д.)
- Вы должны иметь серьёзные намерения вступить в брак, не позднее, 90-дневного срока прибытия вашей невесты на территорию США.
- Вы должны соответствовать минимальным финансовым требованиям (иметь определенный уровень доходов).
- Дети, имеющие право на получение статуса, на основании родителя, эмигрирующего по визе К-1, не должны быть старше 21-го года.
СКОЛЬКО СТОИТ К-1 ВИЗА НЕВЕСТЫ И СКОЛЬКО ЖДАТЬ
В среднем (и это важно) процесс занимает от 3 до 6 месяцев по приезда невесты/жениха в США.
